This is a design is for a logo for ‘The Ross Woodhouse Band’. The idea behind the design was to depict a natural appearance relating to the country style music of the group. I illustrated some clouds after finding inspiration looking at old japanese wood-carvings before overlaying my drawing with some text.
Currently awaiting feedback before I can alter this first draft.

I’ve spent a lot of time on Illustrator in my free time this week to try and get better at it. This was a quick design of an old fashioned watch which was to be used for a band logo.

These are some of my chosen final images for the brief “Documentary Photography”. These photos are part of a narrative together under my chosen theme of ‘Urban Decay’. I found inspiration during this project from work by Lewis Baltz, I was particularly interested in looking at the relationship between the borders of an image formed with the lines and shapes inside that image to create a sort of symmetry.

Final images for my previous brief: “Self-Portraiture Photography”, I had to take photos of myself again using a conceptual and documentary style. Was a bit uncomfortable with this brief as I did not enjoy photographing myself… but here are my results anyway.

Final images for my previous brief: “Portraiture Photography”, I had to take photos of someone under a conceptual and documentary style. I looked at works by Anton Corbijn for inspiration and took from his work the idea of using colour filters over the camera’s lens. Thanks to Ella Cummings for modelling for me :)
